PARTNERING TO PRESERVE AMERICA’S NATIONAL PARKS
As part of Unilever’s commitment to Sustainable Development and contributing to the communities where we live and work, we are pleased to support the National Parks America Tour (“the Tour”) in 2009 for the 11th consecutive year. Registration for the Spring Tour is now open. Your participation will help to ensure this year’s tour is a success.
The Tour, sponsored by Unilever, in cooperation with the National Park Foundation and Take Pride in America, engages Unilever colleagues and local communities in volunteer service-to-the-land activities to help protect and preserve America’s National Parks. While activities vary based on individual park needs, they include a combination of beautification, infrastructure enhancements and overall park maintenance. All necessary supplies will be provided.
Each tour kicks-off with a welcome breakfast and is followed by a series of fun-filled eco-friendly activities. At the conclusion of each event, all participants are invited to enjoy The Great American Picnic – a complimentary lunch featuring a portfolio of Unilever’s leading brands.
As the day provides a terrific opportunity for spending time with others and team building, individuals are encouraged to invite family and other members of the community to participate.

Between 1998 – 2008, the Tour has donated over 300,000 volunteer hours to the National Park Service – this translates to volunteer hours valued at $5 million.
